We are scheduling a node swap of the EY01 nodes n05, because the management device, IPMI, is not working properly. This node houses the mysql50-3-master database. To lessen the impact of this maintenance we are scheduling a failover to the replica prior to the node swap. The failover is scheduled for Thursday, June 25th at 23:00 PDT.

Benefit of Maintenance – This will fix the management device, IPMI, which is currently unusable. While this does not have a direct benefit for our clients, it will allow us to once again properly manage the back-end hardware that your slices run on. The failover will lessen your overall downtime due to the node swap.

Risk of Maintenance – Low.

Downtime Expected – 15 minutes.

Duration of the Upgrade – The maintenance window is set for 1 hour.
