On Friday, September 4th, 2009 @ 11:30pm US/Pacific Engine Yard will be performing a swap of node 5 on EY01 cluster. Customers with a slice on EY01 node 5 have received individual notification via e-mail. This maintenance is classified as low-risk and scheduled for one hour or less. Node 5 has developed a minor cooling fan issue and problems with the out-of-band management interface. The node is otherwise operating normally and we do not expect any issues in the interim. Environments on EY01 that do not have a slice on node 5 are not affected. Multi-slice environments with a slice on node 5 will continue to operate on the remaining slices for the duration of the maintenance.

All was well, our clusters were in good form and we experienced no failures. Thanks!

Gateway changes to EY05 completed without incident

We will be pushing changes to the EY05 gateways shortly

All was well, our clusters were in good form and we experienced no failures. Have a good day!

We failed back to ey00-gw00, all is clear now. Some sites may have been accessible for a few minutes.

ey00-gw00 was down a few hours earlier due to a kernel panic, ey00-gw01 resumed the role as the master gateway. We are starting up ey00-gw00 to assume the master role and establish our redundancy. You may experience some interruption of service for a few seconds as the gateway ey00-gw00 comes up and assumes the master role.

We detected some routing issues on ey03-gw00 and have successfully failed over to ey03-gw01. All sites should be up and not experiencing any issues. We will continue to investigate this event

EY03 is experiencing issues. Our engineers are investigating.

Our west coast data center will be upgrading to higher capacity circuits on 08/27/2009 at 10:00 to 02:00 (GMT -8). You may experience some routing re-convergence and / or sub-optimal routing as traffic is re-routed to other upstream providers. No client downtime is anticipated.

Risk of Change – Low.

Downtime Expected – None.

Duration
– 4 hours.
